Dry Needling

Dry needling is a therapeutic technique that involves the insertion of thin, solid needles into specific points of the body to alleviate pain and promote healing. Unlike traditional acupuncture, holistic dry needling targets trigger points, tight muscles, and connective tissues to address musculoskeletal dysfunction.

When used alongside chiropractic care, holistic dry needling can complement and enhance the benefits of chiropractic adjustments. Chiropractic care primarily focuses on spinal manipulation to restore proper alignment and nerve function. However, chiropractic patients may also experience muscular imbalances, trigger points, or areas of chronic tension.

Dry needling can help address these issues by directly targeting muscular trigger points and reducing muscle tension. By inserting needles into these trigger points, we can elicit a response that promotes relaxation, releases muscle tightness and improves blood flow. This can facilitate the effectiveness of chiropractic adjustments and provide a more comprehensive and holistic approach to addressing musculoskeletal issues.
